From the Eternal City to Renaissance Florence and the vineyards of the Tuscan countryside

Ideal for: Couples | Art & Culture Lovers | Food & Wine Enthusiasts | Slow Travelers | Tuscany Explorers

Overview

This journey brings together three very different sides of Italy: the ancient grandeur of Rome, the artistic heritage of Florence and the peaceful landscapes of the Tuscan countryside.

The first part of the journey is centered around Rome’s essential landmarks, with guided visits to the Colosseum and Vatican Museums balanced by free time to discover neighborhoods such as Trastevere and enjoy the city independently. From Rome, you will continue to Florence by high-speed train, where Renaissance masterpieces, historic streets and local gastronomic traditions take center stage.

The final part of the journey slows down considerably as you collect your rental car and leave the city behind for the rolling hills of Chianti. Based in a charming countryside agriturismo, you will have time to enjoy the pool and surrounding landscape while exploring medieval villages, historic wineries and the flavors of Tuscany at your own pace.

Alongside Italy’s most celebrated sights, the itinerary includes experiences that bring you closer to its culinary traditions — from a private balsamic vinegar tasting in Florence to Chianti Classico wines, olive oil, a picnic among the vineyards and an exclusive visit and tasting at the estate associated with Sting.
