Begin in Rome with guided visits to the Colosseum and Vatican City, complemented by time to explore the city independently and a convivial wine-pairing dinner. Continue south to Naples by high-speed train, where a private walking tour and traditional dinner offer an introduction to the city’s distinctive atmosphere and flavors.
The journey then moves toward the Mediterranean, with Pompeii, Vesuvian wines and Positano providing a beautiful transition from history to coastal life. Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Welcome to Rome
Upon arrival at Rome Fiumicino Airport, meet your private driver for a comfortable transfer to your centrally located 4-star hotel. Settle into your Double Room with breakfast included, then enjoy your first moments in the Eternal City at your own pace.
Day 2 – Ancient Rome & Italian Wine Journey
Begin with a guided visit to the Colosseum, including entrance tickets, and discover one of the most iconic landmarks of Ancient Rome. In the afternoon, explore the lively neighborhood of Trastevere independently, with its picturesque streets and local atmosphere. In the evening, enjoy a convivial shared dinner guided by a sommelier, featuring six wines paired with six courses representing the flavors and traditions of different Italian regions.
Day 3 – Vatican City & the Heart of Rome
Discover the treasures of Vatican City during a guided visit including the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica, with entrance tickets included. The afternoon is free to continue exploring central Rome independently, perhaps wandering through its elegant piazzas, fountains and historic streets.
Day 4 – Rome to Naples & Local Flavors
A private transfer will take you from your Rome hotel to the train station, where you will board the train to Naples. Upon arrival, meet your private driver for a transfer to your centrally located 4-star hotel. After settling in, discover Naples on a private guided walking tour, followed by dinner at a traditional local restaurant for an authentic introduction to the city’s distinctive culinary culture.
Day 5 – Pompeii, Vesuvian Wines & Positano
Meet your private driver for a full-day journey into the landscapes surrounding Mount Vesuvius. Begin with a 2-hour guided visit of Pompeii, with archaeological park tickets included, before continuing to a local winery on the slopes of Vesuvius. Enjoy a tasting lunch featuring regional specialties and local wines, together with a tour of the cellar. In the afternoon, continue along the coast to Positano, where you will check into your hotel for the next four nights.
Day 6 – A Free Day in Positano
Enjoy a completely free day in Positano, with time to settle into the relaxed rhythm of the Amalfi Coast. Wander through the colorful streets, browse local boutiques, enjoy the sea views or simply take the day at your own pace.
Day 7 – Amalfi, Lemon Groves & Local Traditions
Take the ferry from Positano to Amalfi and back, enjoying beautiful views of the coastline from the water. In Amalfi, discover one of the region’s most distinctive traditions during a lemon tour and lunch in a local lemon grove. Learn about the cultivation of the famous Amalfi lemons and enjoy a meal surrounded by the fragrant landscape of the coast before returning to Positano by ferry.
Day 8 – Leisure on the Amalfi Coast
Another free day to enjoy Positano and its surroundings at your own pace. Take the opportunity to relax, enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere or simply savor one final day immersed in the scenery and rhythm of the Amalfi Coast.
Day 9 – Departure from Naples
After breakfast, meet your private driver for a comfortable transfer from your Positano hotel to Naples Airport, in time for your return flight to the United States.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are subject to the following penalties calculated on the total trip price:
- Deposit (30%) is non-refundable under any circumstances.
If the trip has been fully paid, the following penalties apply:
- Up to 60 days before departure: 50% penalty
- From 59 to 45 days before departure: 75% penalty
- From 44 days prior to departure to the departure date: 100% penalty
Package Modifications
Once the package has been confirmed, modifications can be made up to 45 days before departure.
- Upgrades: free of charge, except for the cost of the new services
- Downgrades: subject to an agency fee of €200 per modified service
