Overview
Discover some of Italy’s most captivating destinations on a journey that moves naturally from the Venetian lagoon to the Tuscan countryside, the timeless streets of Rome and the dramatic landscapes of the Amalfi Coast.
Your journey begins in Venice, where you will have time to experience the city at your own pace before discovering its artistic treasures with a private guide. A full day dedicated to the lagoon combines the islands of Venice with the centuries-old tradition of Murano glassmaking, including a private glass demonstration and hands-on workshop.
Continue by train to Florence, the heart of the Renaissance, where a private walking tour introduces you to the city before you explore the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens independently. The following day takes you into the Tuscan countryside, with Monteriggioni, Siena and San Gimignano, Chianti landscapes and a tasting of local wines, olive oil and regional specialties.
From Florence, continue to Rome for three nights, combining free time with guided visits to Ancient Rome and Vatican City. Your final chapter brings you south toward the Bay of Naples, Mount Vesuvius and the Amalfi Coast, with a winery lunch, Pompeii and a full day in Capri before your departure.
