Sit back and relax as you travel comfortably towards the majestic landscapes of the Dolomites, gradually leaving the city behind and entering a world of dramatic alpine peaks and forested valleys. Upon arrival in Cortina d’Ampezzo, one of Italy’s most elegant mountain resorts, you will meet your two professional guides, who will accompany you throughout your Dolomites adventure.

Often referred to as the “Queen of the Dolomites”, Cortina is renowned for its breathtaking scenery, refined alpine atmosphere and charming town center. After checking in at your hotel, you may enjoy a gentle stroll through the town’s lively streets, lined with traditional chalets, stylish boutiques and inviting cafés. The surrounding mountains create an unforgettable backdrop, especially in the golden light of late afternoon.

Take time to settle in and breathe the crisp mountain air. This first evening is perfect to begin immersing yourself in the serene atmosphere of the Alps and prepare for the unforgettable experiences awaiting you in the days ahead.

Day 2 – Panoramic Ascent to Col Drusciè and Scenic Hike Back to Cortina

Your first full day in the Dolomites begins with an exciting alpine experience combining panoramic cable car views and a scenic guided hike. In the morning, you will take the cable car from Cortina d’Ampezzo to Col Drusciè, ascending effortlessly above the valley while enjoying spectacular views of the surrounding Dolomite peaks.

From this breathtaking panoramic area, accompanied by your two professional guides, you will begin a beautiful guided hike descending back towards Cortina along some of the region’s most scenic trails. This route offers a perfect introduction to the landscapes of the Dolomites, winding through alpine forests, open meadows and spectacular viewpoints overlooking the Ampezzo Valley. Throughout the walk, your guides will share fascinating insights about the geology of the Dolomites, the local wildlife and the traditions of alpine life, enriching your experience and helping you discover the hidden details of this extraordinary environment.

At a scenic point along the trail, you will stop to enjoy your included lunch box, a relaxing moment surrounded by the silence and fresh air of the mountains. As the hike continues, the views gradually open over Cortina d’Ampezzo, with the dramatic peaks of the Dolomites forming an unforgettable natural backdrop. The final stretch leads you gently back into town, where you can enjoy a well-earned moment of relaxation after a day immersed in one of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in Europe.

Day 3 – Lake Misurina and the Dolomites Reflected in Water

After breakfast, a private round-trip transfer will take you from Cortina d’Ampezzo to the stunning Lake Misurina, often considered one of the most beautiful lakes in the Dolomites. Upon arrival, the sight is simply breathtaking: a mirror-like lake surrounded by towering peaks, including the majestic Tre Cime di Lavaredo area nearby.

Together with your two guides, you will explore the lakeside paths, enjoying gentle walks that reveal ever-changing perspectives of the surrounding mountains reflected in the water. The tranquil atmosphere and pure alpine air make this one of the most enchanting places in the region and an unforgettable highlight of the journey.

During the excursion, you will stop to enjoy your included lunch box, the perfect opportunity to relax and absorb the silence and beauty of this extraordinary landscape. In the afternoon, your private transfer will take you back to Cortina d’Ampezzo, where you can spend the evening enjoying the relaxed alpine atmosphere.

Today’s adventure takes you to one of the Dolomites’ hidden gems: the peaceful and picturesque Lake Pianozes. A private round-trip transfer will bring you from Cortina d’Ampezzo to the lake, nestled within a beautiful forested landscape just outside town.

Accompanied by your two professional guides, you will follow scenic trails that gently wind through woodland and alpine clearings. Compared to the more famous lakes of the region, Lake Pianozes offers a quieter and more intimate atmosphere, perfect for connecting with nature and appreciating the silence of the mountains.

The calm waters of the lake reflect the surrounding peaks and forests, creating a postcard-perfect setting where time seems to slow down. During your exploration, you will pause for a relaxing moment to enjoy your included lunch box, before returning in the afternoon to Cortina d’Ampezzo with your private transfer.

Day 5 – Journey to Val Gardena and the Village of Ortisei

Today marks a beautiful transition from the Ampezzo Valley to the enchanting landscapes of Val Gardena. A private one-way transfer will take you from Cortina d’Ampezzo to Ortisei, one of the most charming villages in the Dolomites. The scenic journey itself is part of the experience, passing through breathtaking mountain roads and panoramic alpine valleys.

Along the way, you will continue exploring with your two guides, discovering viewpoints and natural landscapes that make this region so extraordinary. During the day you will enjoy your included lunch box, allowing you to pause in nature and fully appreciate the surrounding beauty.

Upon arrival in Ortisei, you will immediately notice its distinctive charm: colorful houses, traditional wooden architecture and a warm alpine atmosphere. Take time to stroll through the town’s elegant pedestrian center, visit artisan shops famous for traditional wood carvings, or simply admire the dramatic peaks surrounding the valley.

Day 6 – The Alpine Meadows of Alpe di Siusi

Today you will discover one of the most extraordinary landscapes in the Alps: Alpe di Siusi, the largest high-altitude alpine meadow in Europe. From Ortisei, you will take the Ortisei–Alpe di Siusi cable car (round trip), ascending effortlessly into a vast plateau of rolling meadows, wooden huts and dramatic Dolomite peaks.

Together with your two guides, you will explore a network of panoramic trails that cross this breathtaking landscape. In every direction, the views are spectacular, with iconic peaks such as Sassolungo and Sciliar rising above the meadows.

At a scenic spot along the trail, you will enjoy your included lunch box, surrounded by one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Dolomites. In the afternoon you will descend back to Ortisei, where you can relax and enjoy the charming alpine atmosphere of the village.

Day 7 – Col Raiser and the Peaks of Val Gardena

Today’s excursion explores another spectacular corner of Val Gardena. You will travel via public bus from Ortisei to Santa Cristina (round trip), enjoying a short and scenic ride through the valley. From there, a cable car will take you up to Col Raiser, a panoramic alpine area surrounded by towering Dolomite peaks.

Accompanied by your two expert guides, you will set out along scenic trails offering magnificent views over the Odle mountain group, one of the most iconic mountain ranges in the Dolomites. The area is famous for its spectacular panoramas, alpine pastures and charming mountain huts scattered across the landscape.

During your hike, you will stop to enjoy your included lunch box, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and the quiet rhythm of the mountains. In the afternoon, you will return to Ortisei, where you can spend the evening enjoying the village’s warm and welcoming alpine atmosphere.
