Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Italy & Spiritual Umbria

Arrive at Rome Fiumicino Airport, where your private driver welcomes you for a smooth transfer into the Umbrian countryside. As landscapes soften into olive groves and rolling hills, the pace of travel gently slows. You arrive in Assisi, a town suspended between earth and sky, rich with spiritual resonance.
Check into your 4-star hotel, ideally located for exploring the historic center. Take time to relax after your journey, perhaps enjoying a quiet walk through medieval streets bathed in golden light. Assisi immediately invites contemplation and calm. Dinner is at leisure, allowing your first evening in Italy to unfold naturally.

Day 2 – Assisi: Art, Faith, and Timeless Beauty

This morning, enjoy a private guided tour of Assisi, discovering the town’s layered history and deep spiritual roots. Your guide brings to life the stories behind its Roman origins, medieval streets, and sacred landmarks.
You enter the Cathedral of San Rufino, an architectural jewel tied closely to Saint Francis. The rest of the day is yours to wander at your own rhythm, lingering in quiet piazzas or panoramic viewpoints. Assisi rewards those who slow down. The evening is free, perfect for a candlelit dinner overlooking the Umbrian hills.

Day 3 – Orvieto & Civita di Bagnoregio: Stone Cities in the Sky

With your private driver for the full day, head north toward Lazio. First stop is Orvieto, dramatically perched on a volcanic plateau. Explore its historic center and admire the magnificent Duomo, a masterpiece of Italian Gothic art.
Continue to Civita di Bagnoregio, the legendary “dying city,” accessible only by footbridge. Walking into Civita feels like stepping into another century, suspended between sky and earth. Time seems to pause here. In the late afternoon, return comfortably to Assisi, reflecting on a day filled with rare and unforgettable places.

Day 4 – Into Le Marche & Arrival in Urbino

After breakfast, your private transfer takes you east toward Le Marche, a region still untouched by mass tourism. The landscapes change subtly, becoming wilder and more introspective.
Arrive in Urbino, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and cradle of the Italian Renaissance. Check into your 4-star hotel within or near the historic center. Spend the afternoon exploring independently, wandering through elegant streets once walked by artists and scholars. Urbino’s harmony and proportions create a deeply refined atmosphere.

Day 5 – Villages & Landscapes of Le Marche

Today is dedicated to the hidden villages and historic towns of Le Marche, explored with a private driver for the full day. Discover hilltop settlements where daily life still follows ancient rhythms.
These are places rarely visited, where authenticity is not curated but lived. Enjoy scenic drives, unexpected viewpoints, and intimate town centers. Each stop tells a different story of resilience, craftsmanship, and quiet beauty. Return to Urbino in the evening, enriched by a deeper understanding of central Italy’s soul.

Day 6 – Urbino to Bologna: From Renaissance to Gastronomy

This morning, travel comfortably with a private transfer to Bologna, Italy’s great culinary capital. Check into your centrally located 4-star hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Stroll beneath Bologna’s iconic porticoes, browse traditional food shops, or simply sit in a piazza watching daily life unfold. Bologna has an intellectual yet convivial spirit. Dinner is at leisure, perhaps guided by your curiosity and appetite.

Day 7 – Bologna: A City of Knowledge and Flavor

Discover Bologna through a private guided walking tour, exploring its medieval towers, historic university, and vibrant markets. Your guide reveals how culture, politics, and gastronomy intertwine here like nowhere else in Italy.
The afternoon is free for personal exploration, museum visits, or culinary indulgence. Bologna invites slow enjoyment. The evening is yours to savor one last meal in this generous city.

Day 8 – Modena: Tradition and Taste

Today, travel by train roundtrip to Modena, a compact city known for its refined elegance and gastronomic heritage. Explore the historic center, admire Romanesque architecture, and enjoy the relaxed pace.
Modena is a city best appreciated without haste. Return to Bologna in the late afternoon, with the evening free for rest or exploration.

Day 9 – Parma: Art, Music, and Noble Atmospheres

Another roundtrip train journey brings you to Parma, a city of understated aristocratic charm. Wander through its historic streets, elegant piazzas, and artistic landmarks.
Parma’s atmosphere is calm, cultured, and refined. Enjoy lunch at leisure before returning to Bologna in the afternoon. This day offers a gentle contrast to larger cities, celebrating balance and beauty.

Day 10 – Siena: Gothic Grandeur in Tuscany

A private transfer brings you south into Tuscany, arriving in Siena, one of Italy’s most evocative medieval cities. After checking into your 4-star hotel, enjoy a private guided tour of the historic center.
Enter the Monumental Complex of Siena Cathedral, including exclusive areas such as the Piccolomini Library. The artistry here is breathtaking. Spend the evening enjoying Siena’s warm, intimate atmosphere.

Day 11 – Chianti: Vineyards and Hill Towns

With your private driver for the day, explore the rolling hills of Chianti. Scenic roads connect vineyards, stone villages, and olive groves.
This is Tuscany at its most iconic, yet still deeply authentic. Enjoy stops in charming towns and panoramic viewpoints. The day flows naturally, guided by beauty rather than schedules. Return to Siena in the evening.

Day 12 – Val d’Orcia: A Living Landscape

Another full day with a private driver takes you into the Val d’Orcia, a UNESCO-listed landscape shaped by harmony and human care. Visit postcard-perfect villages, open valleys, and timeless roads.
Every curve reveals a new perspective, a new stillness. This is Tuscany as imagined, yet entirely real. Return to Siena with memories etched in light and silence.

Day 13 – Departure

Your journey concludes with a private transfer to Rome Airport. As the countryside fades behind you, Italy leaves its quiet imprint—felt rather than spoken, remembered rather than rushed.
